The team find the compound where she is being held, but during the raid the kidnappers escape with Chloe. After identifying the lead kidnapper as Ray McQueen (Max Beesley), Michael Stonebridge (Winchester), Damien Scott (Stapleton) and Julia Richmond (Lukes) track him to a nightclub and plant a tracker on him. However, McQueen soon realises he is being tailed and tries to escape with Chloe again, while also contacting Foster to deliver an armed bomb to the embassy where he is negoatiating with the North Koreans. With less than fifteen minutes, Scott and Stonebridge have to find McQueen and contend with a local gang. They ultimately rescue Chloe and apprehend McQueen, but Locke fails to stop Foster before the bomb detonated, killing Foster and a North Korean general

　　The eighth series has been confirmed to air starting on Friday 6 January 2012 on BBC1 at 9pm. However creator Tony Jordan has said that this will be the last for at least a while and the last with the current cast. Guest stars featuring this season will include Sheila Hancock, Martin Kemp and Paterson Joseph.Peter Polycarpou and John Barrowman have also revealed on Twitter that they will have guest roles in series eight. This will be the third series to be filmed in Birmingham, the fifth in HD and the fourth series featuring all of the current cast. Adrian Lester is also set to direct an episode, in which Mickey is kidnapped.Other cons will see the team take on the world of slimming pills and pull off a gold heist. Jaime Murray reprised her role for the final episode.

　　There are a dozen reasons to find Hustle infuriating, but somehow it always manages to float above them and become enjoyable. As series five begins, the usual quirks are there: a plot made of brightly coloured Sticklebricks, characters mugging at the camera, a fatal fondness for flashbacks and Adrian Lester delivering his lines as if it were an elocution contest. And if that weren't enough, there's another hitch: Marc Warren and Jaime Murray have left the series, and losing two-fifths of your lead cast would dent any drama. So with Danny and Stacey "still in the States" after the Las Vegas finale of the last series, and Albert (Robert Vaughn) in prison, Mickey (Lester) is looking to assemble a new crew, with the help of Ash (Robert Glenister) - still the only one you could almost believe, if you half-closed your eyes, might be a con man. Luckily, Albert has found a tempting mark to get them started.
